You already tell guests where to eat and how to get to the airport. A partner offer is the same recommendation, with a tracked link behind it, so the business can pay you when the guest actually turns up.
The split
You keep 70% of the commission a business pays; Hostbnb keeps 30%. It's a split of the commission, never of what your guest paid — and the guest never pays more for coming through you.
| Example | |
|---|---|
| Guest books a tour | ¥20,000 |
| Operator's commission (15%) | ¥3,000 |
| Your share (70%) | ¥2,100 |
| Hostbnb's share (30%) | ¥900 |
Where offers appear
In their own section, below your personal recommendations, labelled as partner offers in the guest's language. Your own picks are never reordered by payment, and nothing appears until you enable it.
How a commission is tracked
- 1
The guest taps or scans
Each partner gets an offer page, a tracking link and a QR code they can show at the counter.
- 2
The booking is attributed
Online bookings attribute through the link; in-person redemptions attribute through the code.
- 3
It confirms after the service
Nothing is payable the moment a guest clicks. A commission confirms once the service is complete and the provider's refund window closes — typically seven days.
Getting paid
Confirmed earnings are paid out monthly, or credited against your Hostbnb invoice if you'd rather the subscription pay for itself. The Earn view in your dashboard keeps pending and confirmed amounts separate so you're never counting money that can still evaporate.
