For local businesses

Reach travelers through the host they already trust

Hostbnb powers the in-stay concierge for short-term rentals. When a guest asks their host what to do, where to eat, or how to get to the airport, your offer can be the answer.

No setup fee · No monthly subscription · Pay only for completed customers

Pay only for results

No listing fee, no monthly minimum, nothing charged for clicks or impressions. You pay a commission or a flat bounty when a guest completes a service — and never on a cancellation or refund.

A recommendation, not an ad

Your offer reaches guests inside the concierge their host set up, at the moment they're asking what to do. That's a warmer introduction than any ad slot, which is exactly why the labeling matters.

Measurable, finally

Every visit is attributed to a specific property through a referral link, promo code or QR scan — so you can see what the channel actually produced instead of guessing.

Pricing by business type

A model that fits your margins

A slice of a restaurant bill is a bad deal for the restaurant; a flat fee on a ¥40,000 tour is a bad deal for us. So the model changes by category, and your own terms are agreed with you.

Example — a restaurant. Sakura Restaurant offers Hostbnb guests a free welcome drink and pays ¥600 for every completed reservation. The guest gets a real benefit, the restaurant gets a measurable customer and a bill it can predict, and the host earns from a recommendation that was genuinely useful.

Three ways to reach guests

Available now

Marketplace

List an offer and make it available to every eligible property nearby. Hosts browse and enable the partners they trust, so the businesses that appear are the ones a host would vouch for.

Available now

Direct host partnerships

Already have hosts sending you guests? They can invite you directly. We provide the offer page, QR code, tracking, billing and monthly payouts — turning an informal relationship into a measurable one.

Coming later

Targeted campaigns

Reach properties within a radius of a station or neighbourhood, filtered by guest language, travel dates and property type, with a maximum monthly budget you control.

Roadmap

Paid plans buy software, not endorsements

Start on performance pricing. When these arrive, a monthly fee will buy analytics, targeting and management tools — never a guarantee that a host recommends you.

Why we label your offer

Every partner offer a guest sees is labeled as a partner offer, and every sponsored placement as sponsored, in the guest's own language. Japan's Consumer Affairs Agency requires an advertising relationship to be recognizable as one, and disguising commercial promotion as independent content is prohibited.

This is also why the channel works. A guest who trusts the recommendation walks in ready to buy; a guest who suspects they were sold to doesn't walk in at all.

Guests book and pay you (or the booking platform you already use) directly. Hostbnb is the referral layer — we don't resell your service or collect your customers' money.

Questions businesses ask

What does it cost to list?
Nothing up front. There is no setup fee and no mandatory subscription — you pay only when a Hostbnb guest actually becomes your customer. Software subscriptions for analytics, campaign targeting and offer management are optional and come later.
How is a customer verified?
It depends on your business. Online bookings verify against a confirmed booking or referral link; in-person visits verify with a QR scan or promo code at your counter. We agree the method with you before you go live.
When am I charged?
Only after the guest has completed the service and your refund window has closed. Cancellations, refunds and no-shows are never charged.
Am I paying for clicks?
No. We deliberately do not charge for clicks or impressions — that's how local marketing budgets get burned with nothing to show. You are charged per completed customer.
Does paying guarantee I'm recommended?
No, and that's deliberate. Hosts choose the partners that appear on their own guest pages, and results are ranked by distance, availability, guest language, ratings and host approval. Payment is one signal, never the only one. A paid subscription buys software and targeting, not an endorsement.
Can I cap what I spend?
Yes. Set a maximum monthly budget on any offer and it stops being shown once that ceiling is reached.

Tell us what you offer, where you are, and which languages you can serve guests in. We review every application and agree your terms with you before anything goes live — nothing is published automatically.

We only publish publicly available business information, after editor review. Sponsored and partner placements are always labeled.
