This performance recreates the nighttime military training of the 'Jangyongyeong', the royal guard unit established by King Jeongjo, the 22nd king of Joseon. A nighttime military ceremony of the Joseon Dynasty, held at Yeonmudae, Suwon Hwaseong Haenggung Palace. This large-scale outdoor performance takes place around Hwaseong Haenggung Palace, featuring media facades and state-of-the-art lighting technology. [‘Seonyumong: King's Dream’ Ticket] A water performance inspired by the traditional Joseon-era boating entertainment, seonyunori, takes place every evening at Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion and Yongyeon Pond in Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. Set against Yongyeon Pond beneath Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion, a nighttime performance combining light, water, and sound unfolds after dark. A traditional performance themed around the era of King Jeongjo takes place around Banghwasuryujeong Pavilion and Yongyeon Pond for a limited time during the fall season.
