The Day Hike in Darjeeling Tonglu is the perfect one day getaway to crisp mountain views, after passing through friendly villages and sharing a meal with locals. In fact, on this single day tour, you will come face to face with Kanchenjunga (8586 meters / 28,169 feet), and if the weather is very clear you, the Mount Everest Family might also come into view will make an appearance! The excursion begins at 6:00 AM and concludes by 5:00 PM. The actual hiking duration is approximately 6-7 hours, while the round-trip drive to and from the base camp takes 3 hours. Participants will enjoy a local breakfast in Dhotery and a traditional lunch at Tonglu.
