Room 3B had the best window

Ask for a higher floor if you can — the tram rumbling past below and the castle lit up at night made the whole stay. Front desk was super helpful with tram cards too.

Rooftop breakfast, then get lost

Start on the terrace with a coffee and the river view, then just wander the lanes with no plan. We stumbled on tiny squares and the best pastéis de nata by accident.

A Baiuca blew us away

The front desk booked us the early seating. Half the room ended up singing — including our waiter. Order the octopus and just soak it in. Unforgettable.
